Christmas at Maple Valley Nursing Home Halloween at Maple Valley Nursing Home Hi! I would like to welcome you to our Activity Department here at Maple Valley. We do many different activities, most of what comes right from what our residents used to enjoy doing when they were at home. We try to take our residents on outings such as going shopping at the mall, going out for a meal, looking at the seasons changing in our area. We also participate in the Leland parade and attend the Northwestern Michigan Fair every year. We are grateful to be able to have a vehicle that we can take out when ever we are able to. We have a resident council that meets every other month for the residents to voice their concerns on activities and other subjects in the facility. We also have baby and toddler therapy often with my children Lauren and Colin and my niece Haleigh. We also have 2 cats, Sam & Lacey, a Lorikeet named Yogi and a few other birds through out the facility. We try to get our community involved in activities like our Easter Egg hunt, Santa party and other things. ~ Serena Kasben Activity Director

Daily Activities Our daily Activities may include: * Bingo * Sensory Stimulation * Religious Ceremonies * Catholic Mass, Communion & Rosary * Bible Study * Protestant Services * Methodist Services * Lutheran Services * Arts and Crafts * Exercise Program * Movies * Outdoor Outings such as the Northwestern Michigan Fair, Spring & Fall Color Tour and Christmas Shopping * Musical Guests VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!
