 Hi! I would like to welcome you to our Activity Department here at Maple Valley.
We do many different activities, most of what comes right from what our residents used to enjoy doing when they were at home.
We try to take our residents on outings such as going shopping at the mall, going out for a meal, looking at the seasons changing in our area. We have even attended a Traverse City Beach Bums Game for our Sports Enthusiasts.
We also attend the Northwestern Michigan Fair every year. We are grateful to be able to have a vehicle that we can take out whenever we are able to.
We have a resident council that meets every other month for the residents to voice their concerns on activities and other subjects in the facility.
We also have baby and toddler therapy often with my children and my niece.
We also have 2 cats, Sam & Lacey, a Lorikeet named Yogi and a few other birds throughout the facility.
We try to get our community involved in activities like our Easter Egg hunt, Santa party and other things.
